it’s really hard to put all my thoughts and plans into my Instagram postings so I decided to do my very first „LIFE UPDATE“ 🙂
Early June – traveling to Austria
We left our beloved new home Miami to travel back to our original homebase in Austria and from the very first day back we had to attend a few meetings and do some administrative work for our sales promotion agency. Also we need to hire a few more people because the business is growing like crazy. Wanna work for us? Watch out for job offers 😀 Our company is run remotely by all of our employees – would anybody be interested in the HOW IT WORKS? (let me know in the comments below)
We got interviewed for our Youtube Channel
The spontaneous trip to Prague
Orginally we wanted to crash the wedding of @tasteofprague. That’s why we decided to do the 3h roadtrip to Prague. We didn’t end up at their wedding, because it was raining but we had a really good time enjoying ourselves (but if you are consider traveling to Prague, check out their Instagram). Watch our Prague Vlog:
Catching up with friends and family
In between we took some quality time to catch up with friends and family which was much needed 🙂 BTW: my 11-years younger sister graduated – she grew up so fast and I’m super proud of her!
Talking of being spontaneous: we learned how to Wakesurf
Our good friend and cat sitter Ralf (he looked after our cats while we were in Miami for a few weeks – HUGE THANK YOU) asked us to join him for a fun ride on the Danube.
Here we go: we found ourselves in the ice cold Danube (almost had a heart attack LOL) trying to Wakesurf. It may not be the easiest sport, but once you manage to stand on the board, it’s absolutely amazing! Wakesurfing is a whole-body-workout so be prepared for being super sore the next day 😀 Watch our Vlog:
Runtastic Ambassador Weekend and Live Workout Party
I announced this on my Instagram stories a few months ago: I became a Runtastic Ambassador which means: I’m trying to share as much as possible from my daily workout routines with you guys. It’s basically to get some inspiration for workouts and foods for a healthier lifestyle.
Runtastic invited all Runtastic Ambassadors from all over the world to meet up, have a good time and workout together at the Runtastic Live Workout Party in Vienna which was freaking amazing as hundreds of people joined us to sweat together.
Here are a few learnings and recaps from this weekend from:

Also if you don’t have a clue how a Live Workout Party looks like, watch this and join us next time (dates and international locations will be announced on the Runtastic Facebook Fanpage) 🙂
We filmed an advertising spot for Wombats
We were asked to be part of a spot for the Hostel Wombats. This was really exciting although it was a really strenuous day: woke up super early, traveled to Vienna for the shoot, filmed the whole day and ended up waiting 2hours to get back to Linz due to a delay of our train. Arrived at home after midnight *-*
I got my first paid trip for an Europe trip
Checkfelix asked me to be part of their Checkfelix Eurotrip Bloggerchallenge which was: travel to as many European capital cities as possible with a budget of EUR 999 within 3 days. The winner will get a EUR 500 travel voucher her followers. You can find a recap in German here, my Instagram postings in English here and of course we captured the whole experience in our VLOGS:
Now comes the best part! Our trip of a lifetime: 2-months-Southeast Asia trip
Right one day after the Europetrip we continued our travels to Asia. Originally we had a huge collaboration project in Bali for August which unfortunately was cancelled but we already booked our flights. That’s were my boyfriend decided to do a Southeast Asia trip instead of going back to Miami (because it’s Hurricane season during summer there and it’s too hot to do anything). But were to go? We decided to do this route:
7th – 9th. July: Bangkok (THAILAND)
This was basically just a layover – if you want to know what you can do during a 24-hour layover, head to my blogpost.
9th – 16th July: Siem Reap, (CAMBODIA)
Exploring Siem Reap and visiting its world famous Temples
16th – 18th July: Kuala Lumpur, (MALAYSIA)
This was more of a „exploring the Streetfood of Kuala Lumpur“ layover thing, than doing sightseeing. Luckily our online friends The NYC Couple were here too and we finally met in real life 🙂
18th July – 8th August: Manila, Coron, El Nido, Puerto Princesa, Balabac and Boracay (PHILIPPINES)
I always wanted to explore the Philippines and it seems it’s not so touristy yet 🙂
8th August – 4th September: Bali, Lombok, Gili Islands and Komodo Island
It seems like we keep coming back to Bali – it’s our 3rd time there.
I’m going to publish blogposts of every destination and of course Vlogs and summary videos are coming too. So make sure to SUBSCRIBE to our Channel to get notified as soon as new Travel Vlogs are up.
Meanwhile you can enjoy our „Trip of a lifetime“ playlist on Youtube:
That’s it for now – more coming soon :-*
